Working on the Polynesian Cultural Center website
I am currently an intern on the Polynesian Cultural Center marketing team, working on how its website performs. It is still in progress, so the details will be added when the work is ready to share.

What I'm working on
Four things I want to improve
This term I moved from marketing operations to the website. The aim is a site that loads quickly, stays steady on a phone, and is easy for search engines and visitors to understand.
- Page speed, especially for visitors on phones.
- Visual stability, so the page does not jump around while it loads.
- Search visibility, so each page says clearly what it offers.
- Accessibility, so every visitor can use the site.
How I work on it
Measure, fix in order of impact, measure again
I start from real visitor data and lab tests, rank what I find by how much it matters, and hand the team a list a developer can act on. After each change I measure again to see whether it moved anything.
Details to come. I am still working on this, so I am keeping the findings private for now. The full write-up will be added once the work is finished and ready to share.
